I knew all about diets and healthy foods and reached my weight goal years ago. I started to slowly put the weight back on and couldn’t lose it, no matter what diet I tried. After observing positive results in somebody I know who had previously worked with Shari, I decided to make the call and get in contact with her. I met her on June 13, 2016 and one of the first questions Shari asked me was if I was really ready to lose weight and learn how to keep it off. I answered yes and I meant it. I told her that I would like to lose between 15 and 20 pounds. The first week I did not lose and Shari very gently suggested that I take a picture of my meal plates so we could both see what was going on. The rest is history. I understood that I was not on a diet and changed my way of eating. I simply reduced portions and learned what it meant to eat when you are hungry and not because the food is tempting. The result is a loss of 18 pounds in about 6 months. The most significant result is that I succeeded not only to lose the weight, but I learned how to maintain my current weight without feeling deprived. I secretly call her my “gentle GURU”. It was and still is, a lasting great experience. Kudos to Shari.
