Imagine my surprise when I found this bouquet of fresh spinach! I had already resolved that I would resort to buying a prepackaged box of baby spinach given the weather, but finding this was like hitting the jackpot!
Spinach is Nutritious
I can’t stress enough how nutritionally beneficial spinach is. Spinach is a nutrient powerhouse that’s packed with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and has unbelievable health benefits. Spinach contains high levels of both Vitamin A + C, which both act as antioxidants to protect against bacteria, viruses and toxins. Among other things, spinach also helps to maintain bone and promote healthy skin cell growth.
Spinach is Delicious on it’s Own
Like it in salad? Me too!! Toss baby spinach leaves with other salad greens to give variety and add more oomph to your salads.
