There’s power in words. Think about it.

We all have an inner voice. You know, the one that criticizes you, talks down to you or will just berate you at a choice you’ve made or something that you’ve done. We can all be our own worse enemy at times, at least I know I can. And what type of mood do you think that all this negativity will elicit?

Anything can put you in that type of mood. It could be from over indulging, something that someone said to you, not being able to do something or even breaking something. From my own experience, when you dwell on a situation or something that you did or didn’t do, it’s so hard to turn it around and get into a positive mood. It can have a domino effect too and one bad thought can just spiral into a whole lot of negativity.

It doesn’t have to be that way. I’m not saying that when something happens that it’s easy to turn it around, it’s work. Be more positive. Smile just for the sake of smiling. Start the day by looking into a mirror and telling yourself that  YOU CAN DO IT, that YOU’VE GOT THIS, that YOU ARE AMAZING and SMART and BEAUTIFUL, those words go a long way. Surround yourself around positive people. Think happy thoughts. Focus on the positive and you will see great things evolve. Trust me on this.

As always, I’d love to hear from you!
